Redtail Ridge produces certified organic, extra virgin olive oil. It is cold pressed,
talc free, and available in a range of sizes.
The olives are harvested from late April to June and cold pressed within hours of
the pick, resulting in delicious oils of robust and brilliantly balanced flavours
with intense characteristics perfect for dipping, salad dressing, marinades and
cooking.
As with the wine industry, olive oil can be pressed and bottled by variety or by
blending to create unique flavours. Each year we combine different oil varieties
to produce olive oils to suit all palates.
Varieties now available are:
Leccino: medium strength, peppery-finish oil, winner of a silver medal at the 2010
olive oil awards at the Royal Agricultural Show.
Mission/Frantoio blend: robust fruity oil, perfect for dipping and salads.
‘5-Blend’: soft, fruity olive oil, a great-all rounder, excellent for cooking and
salads.
